![]() ![]() (Like there's one hair style for females where if one section is long enough it is parted over her right eye. Makes it pretty simple for things like if you want to curve up a character's nose, or if you want the person's hair moved out of the way. If you haven't seen it before, you can use sliders or click on body parts and move them around. I went with a Sorcerer, because that seemed like one of the characters I would actually play as if I ever do actually play this game.įirst impressions are pretty great so far. I did take two screenshots earlier though. (Whoops!) I was a little surprised the program didn't ask if I wanted to save or confirmed whether or not I wanted to quit, but whatever. But it doesn't give you enough freedom and enough options that I find it fun as a stand alone program, and I'm not interested enough in the game to play with it longer than I did.So as I was closing out a few web browsers, I accidentally closed the character creator. I mean, it's an interesting character creation program, no doubt. Sure, I can make it wider or thinner, but can I change the shape of her breasts? Can I change the actual lay of her shoulders? Can I change the size of her hands to have hands like hamhocks if I want? No, I can not do that. Second, there's the fact that the body shape doesn't actually give me enough control over the body *shape*. And the body shape adjuster was not actually robust enough to change her shape enough to make me feel like I could have taken one of the other female characters and changed up their shape enough to meet what I had in mind. I tried to take a Tamer and change her from a vaguely Chinese scanning woman into something more European.įirst, that's sort of an issue because that was the only female body type that had a "small, lithe" body type that I wanted. And frankly, most adjustments just end up looking awkward. ![]() But again, they start with a particular racial template, which limits the number of things you can do without having to put either a shit ton of work into it, or making things look awkward. I mean, it's *pretty*, but robust? I've got Skyrim mods that make the Skyrim character creation far more robust, and they don't take up 6 gigs.ĮTA: Yes, I see where I can click on a section of the face and adjust things in various ways. It doesn't get much more impressive from there. It still locks you into a basic gender/racial trait structure for each character class, which limits a huge number of choices. ![]()
